Cancellation and refunds

Effective 22 August 2026

Milestones keep this simple and fair in both directions: you only ever pay for work that exists, so cancelling never means paying for work that does not, and every refund below runs on a stated clock.

The model in one paragraph

Projects are billed by milestone against a written proposal. Each milestone is a defined piece of work with its own amount, so at any moment the money and the work line up: what is delivered is paid for, what is not started is not owed.

Before a milestone begins

Cancel before a milestone starts and anything you prepaid for it is refunded in full, no questions asked and no deduction made.

Cancelling mid-project

Send written notice, email is enough, at any time. From the effective date in the terms: you pay for milestones completed and for work in progress up to that date at the proposal's milestone rates, plus any third-party costs already committed on your behalf; everything built and paid for is handed over; and whatever you prepaid beyond that is refunded.

Third-party purchases made for your project, domains, licenses, ad spend, hosting credits, follow their own vendors' refund rules and are otherwise non-refundable once committed, which is why each one is agreed with you in writing before it is spent.

If a delivery falls short

Every milestone carries the thirty-day promise from the terms: anything that does not match the agreed scope is fixed at no charge. If we cannot make a milestone match its agreed scope, that milestone is refunded. Scope is the written scope: work that matches it is not returnable for a change of mind, though the change process in the terms is always open.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued within five to seven business days, to the original payment method, through Razorpay for card, UPI and netbanking payments, or by bank transfer where the payment arrived that way. Banks and card networks may take a short further period to show the credit; if a refund has not appeared within ten business days of our confirmation, write to us and we chase it with the processor.

Payment disputes and chargebacks

If a charge ever looks wrong, write to hello@doinhub.com first: a senior engineer replies within four hours, including weekends, and most concerns resolve in that first exchange, faster than any dispute process.

Because every project lives in a repository with a commit log, delivery is a matter of record. Where a chargeback is raised, we respond to the payment processor and the card networks with that record: the proposal, the correspondence, the commits and the handover. Refunds owed under this policy are paid under this policy, whether or not a dispute was opened.

How to ask

Email hello@doinhub.com with the project name and what you would like to happen. You get a reply within four hours, a written decision under this policy within two business days, and, where a refund is due, the confirmation and the clock above.
